About

Who is behind Diligencias Legales de Puerto Rico, how the work is supervised and which associations we belong to.

Diligencias Legales de Puerto Rico was born of a complaint repeated by the Poindexter network's law firm clients on the island: you cannot find a process server who answers, documents and swears. The unit was organized to solve exactly that.

Who we are

We are the judicial service unit of Poindexter Legal Group in Puerto Rico, operated within the Poindexter Global Intelligence network. Our servers are former law enforcement officers and former court marshals, identified by a numbered Emplazador Civil badge, trained in Rule 4 of the Puerto Rico Rules of Civil Procedure and Federal Rule 4, and supervised by an attorney who reviews every file before the affidavit leaves the office.

Supervision

The unit is directed by C. Constantin Poindexter Salcedo, an attorney with offices in Raleigh, San Juan, Santo Domingo and Moca, founder of Surety One, Inc., of Janus Assurance Re and of the network of investigative and process service firms that includes Poindexter & Associates, Inc., Poindexter Global Intelligence and Judicial Process of North Carolina. His professional designations are MA, JD, CPCU, AFSB, ASLI, ARe, AINS, AIS and CPLP. He is the author of The Contractor's Guide to Surety Bonds and writes in Spanish and English on civil procedure, surety and reinsurance.

  • Every field file is retained for five years, and the server is available to testify.
